All AMs starting in June

Last Sunday
5-24-11: Unfortunately, I was tied up with my daughter's piano recital last Sun. afternoon, so I didn't make it out to the ride--the first one I've missed! Anyway, I hope some of you got to enjoy the ride--who went? Let me know how it went.
While it's unseasonably cool (love it!) for May, I'm thinking that by the 4th Sun. in June, it'll be blazing hot in the afternoon, so starting with the June rides, they will both be in at 8:30 AM/leave by 9:00 AM. We may actually even move that earlier if it starts getting hot, so mighit be meet at 8:00 AM and leave by 8:30 AM, so we'll see. I'll post it on the blog.
Next rides: June 12 & 26, 8:30 AM meet, head out at 9:00 AM
I will be returning from a mission trip to Honduras on June 26, so will miss that. If anyone is planning on doing that ride and would be willing to be the "host" for the group, please let me know. Thanks!

Updates for this weekend!

5-13-11: Team CycleFit news!!!!

Looking for a new bike?
If you're in the market for a new bicycle, check out the sale going on at Cyclery USA! See what bikes they have on sale here, or stop in the store today. Up to 40% off on select 2009 and 2010 models. (Hmm, I've had my eye on those Trek 7.3's which are on sale, and it's someone's b-day next week....hmmmm.) With the price of gas, a few days of commuting could pay off a new bike in no time, PLUS burn some kcals and add years to your life! It's a win-win....GO GREEN AND GET LEAN!!!

1st Mtn. bike Ride (off-schedule)
Want to get dirty? Then join Roxy and I (and Summer if she can get up early enough) on our first Team CycleFit mountain bike ride at the Loma Linda Trails at Hulda Crooks Park. Great for beginners, we'll take an easy 2.3 mile loop on Scott's Ridge (aka "1st Hump). If you'd like to see what to expect, check out this short video clip I made last year. Details:

Where to meet: parking lot by tennis courts
Time we'll leave parking lot: 7:30 AM (get there early enough for however long you need to prep)
Dogs welcome (Roxy is on a leash while I ride--you'll see that in the video clip)

Have a great weekend all! Hope to see you at Cyclery USA and/or on the dirt this weekend!
